4Corners IAM is a specialist industrial property asset manager.

We work alongside a range of Institutional Investors, Listed and Privately owned Property Companies and Family Trusts, advising on both strategy and the execution of asset management initiatives in order to enhance asset performance.

Due to the nature of the multi-let industrial asset class, our approach requires an intensive approach to occupier liaison to enable us to react to changing market conditions and opportunities.

The directors have a blend and depth of experience combining fund management, asset management, transactional and development expertise. Since taking on our first project in January 2016 we have grown to asset manage industrial property across England, Scotland and Wales and as at May 2019 have assets under management totaling over 2.1 million sq ft.

The occupier base is diverse ranging from FTSE 100 companies through to local start up business’ whilst the properties under management range from dated 1960’s and 1970’s built estates through to modern trade parks and distribution units.

4Corners IAM provide a bespoke service based on our clients’ requirements.

We have a number of mandates undertaking asset management in isolation. In other instances we advise on pre-acquisition due diligence and devise the strategy to be implemented post completion whilst we are also retained in some cases to provide a comprehensive service that also includes sourcing potential acquisitions in the marketplace.

Each Director has a varied and long standing experience across the industrial sector which has enabled us to build a depth of knowledge and a contact base throughout the UK. As a result, the company has a network of occupational agents and reliable local professional partners that can provide building, project management, environmental, legal and estate management services in each region.

We therefore work alongside these partners to provide a full and comprehensive asset advisory service to include all facets of industrial property ownership if required. As a result of the geographical spread of estates that we have under management, we have the resource, contacts and knowledge base to assess and review new opportunities in each region of the UK.

Team

Scott is an Asset Manager with 15 years’ experience in the asset management of industrial estates.

He has extensive property management experience having worked at Workman before becoming regional head of asset management for the Ashtenne Industrial Fund, based at their London head office with responsibility for their South East holdings. Scott was responsible for devising the strategy that reacted to the fall out of the 2008 financial crisis leading to void levels and returns that consistently outperformed the IPD benchmark. He was also responsible for controlling insurance, risk management and environmental matters across the entire fund.

Scott is focused on the asset management of the portfolios under management and advising on pre-purchase strategy on portfolio acquisitions.

Mike has over 15 years of experience in Fund and Asset Management.

He was previously fund manager at ING Real Estate Investment Management on a wide range of in-house portfolios including ING’s UK Property Income Fund and several pension fund mandates including Rolls Royce, Dorset County Council, GM and Xerox. Mike is also a founding partner of Oxygen Asset Management and over the course of the past three years has been responsible for the acquisition and ongoing asset management of more than £200 million of industrial and logistics assets.

Mike is focused on sourcing investment opportunities, structuring transactions and creating deliverable asset management strategies for the company’s investors.


Nick is a Chartered Surveyor with an established track record advising a range of industrial investors on acquisition and sales strategies.

He trained at Colliers and Doherty Baines before moving on to Clay Street where he became retained advisor to the Ashtenne Industrial Fund on their south east portfolio. He also has a long track record of advising sector specialists along with a variety of Institutions on their industrial holdings. He has advised on over £400 million of transactions in the last decade.

Nick is focused on sourcing investment opportunities, pre-acquisition strategy and the cash-flow analysis of the assets under management.

Aston is a Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years’ experience in Fund and Asset Management.

He previously worked at ING Real Estate Investment Management as fund manager of the ING UK Property Income Fund. The Funds focus was on acquiring and driving income producing assets and owned predominantly office and industrial properties throughout the UK.

Aston concentrates on asset enhancement and redevelopment of properties within the portfolios under management to maximise returns for the investors.

John has 40 years’ experience as a Chartered Surveyor initially in the advisory sector as a partner of DTZ.

He was UK Property Director of SEGRO plc responsible for the UK business from 1996 to 2008 and Managing Director of the Ashtenne Industrial Fund from 2009 to 2013, where he was responsible for over 300 multi let industrial estates across the UK.

John is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Innesco, a Trustee of Marshalls Charity and the Royal Veterinary College. He is a past Board Member of the British Council of Offices, the CBI Property Group and former Chairman of the Industrial Agents Society.
